“ Stopped by here because my gf was craving pastels. The places didn't look open from the outside we came a hour before it closed. The location is in the hood but trust me when I say it's worth it! The inside is decorated in all Puerto Rican decore. Very bright colors lots of pictures and paintings. We ordered beef empanadas 10/10 soooo flavorful! We ordered pork pastels and 2/10 did my have much flavor at all. It was just ok . Carne Guisada with mofongo . The mofongo 10/10 so good!!! I couldn't stop eating it! The carne guisada was very tender and we both enjoyed it 8/10 they also gave us Pollo guisada because that's what we actually ordered but there was a miscommunication. So they brought us some anyways and that was 5/10 I preferred the beef better. We also had the soursap drink it was good but super sweet. We will be back for sure! The owner came out and talked to us about how he became the owner and it was a cool story! So ask if you go in! ”
